Born and raised in the Philippines, Ashley Patricio, lives and works in Massachusetts. Growing up with no artists around to influence her, she ventured online where she found a singer she admired. Her admiration turned into inspiration as she began to teach herself to draw. She formally signed up for an art class in college where she learned the basics and found a new dream: Drawing 1, her first college art class after mandatory art classes in elementary school. Drawing 1 was where her passion grew. She thought about drawing her favorite artists, her dog, and the world around her. Art alone made her look at her surroundings and appreciate the beauty of nature. She became interested in photography, wanting to take pictures of her world through her own lense. With her favorite singers (BTS and Taylor Swift) as her biggest inspiration, she began designing for album covers, books and magazines. All with a focus on pop culture, especially movies and entertainment.
